iSlipstick is a collection of commonly used electronic formula calculators and value converters.
Calculators:
Ohm's Law Calculator Enter any two parameters of voltage, current, resistance or power to find the remaining parameters.
Reactance Calculator Find the reactance of a capacitor or inductor at a specified frequency.
Resonant Frequency Calculator Find the resonant frequency of a capacitor inductor pair.
Voltage Divider Calculator Find the unloaded output voltage of two resistors in series.
Parallel Resistance Calculator Find the total resistance of up to six resistors in parallel.
Impedance and Phase Calculator Find the resultant impedance and vector angle of a series or parallel RLC circuit.
Op-Amp Gain Calculator Find the gain of both inverted and non-inverted op-amp stages by entering two resistor values. Converters:
Resistor Color Code Converter Provides a way to determine the resistance value of 4 band color coded resistors. Dial up the color pattern and press convert to display the value in ohms. Enter the value into the text field to find the equivalent color pattern.
SMT Resistor Marking Converter Easily convert surface mount technology resistor markings to ohmic values and tolerances. Converts 3 digit, 4 digit and EIA-96 coded resistors.
dBm Converter Find the power and voltage levels of a signal into 50, 75 or 600 ohm loads. Convert the dB value of known power and voltage levels. Convert dBV and dBW to absolute levels and vice versa.
Voltage Converter Enter any one of four voltage values (RMS, Average, Peak and Peak-to-Peak) to find the other equivalent values. Also works for non-sinusoidal waveforms.
Temperature Converter Convert between Fahrenheit, Celsius, Rankine and Kelvin.
Period to Frequency Converter Converts a waveform time period to frequency (or repetition rate) and vice versa.
Features:
iSlipstick's unique keyboard makes it easy to enter values without having to jump from one keyboard mode to another. Common characters such as p, u, m, k, M are on the numeric keypad.
Numeric input can be American or European standard using a dot or comma as a decimal separator.
Re-orderable tables allow you to put the most frequently used functions where you will find them quickly.
A help page is included too.
